Three Things I Underestimated About Cannabis Oil

When I first ventured into the cannabis industry last year, I didn’t know what to truly expect. Like many people already know, I haven’t smoked marijuana in almost a decade. I’m not anti-marijuana, but I definitely don’t promote and advocate the recreational cause either.

Living in Colorado, you always hear the same thing from people who aren’t from here: “Oh you live in the weed state!” Well, in terms of advancing the legal limitations of recreational marijuana use, Colorado’s been critical. In terms of being the “weed state,” we’re far from it and I don’t relate with it.

So, last year, when the opportunity for me to venture into the cannabis industry came about, I wasn’t 100% sure on what I was getting into. I knew of CBD because of some minimal research I personally had done, and because of my firsthand experience with cancer and how CBD played a major part in my personal story.

I remember meeting our manufacturer and touring the lab where our CBD is produced. I won’t lie, on my way up there, I was hoping I wasn’t about to pull up to some marijuana farm with hippies stumbling around. To my pleasant surprise, that day changed me and my concerns were 100% crushed in that moment.

That day, I was able to see how our WeThinkHealth product and CBD is produced. I was able to see the actual science behind it. Seeing this scientific process come together blew me away. The production team we had at our back truly inspired me. It also validated our product even more. I knew at that very moment our company was going to go full force into this industry.

Well, since being in this industry, there have been a few things that have surprised me (to say the least). This new alternative health solution, CBD, has not failed to amaze me. I thought it would be good to share with you the three biggest things I’ve been blown away by in regards to cannabis oil and its immense health benefits.

I Underestimated The Health Impact Cannabis Oil Truly Has

I know this sounds crazy, right? I’ve seen through my personal experience how cannabis helped two loved ones with terminal cancer. Well, the truth is, I still needed more evidence cannabis oil could help just about anyone - not to mention in many more areas than cancer.

Since our company’s inception, and since the first day we sold any of our CBD product, I’ve been amazed at the great feedback we get; it’s like nothing I’ve seen in other industries as far as engagement and effective results. Our batting average right now is pretty damn good. Almost everyone who takes CBD on a regular basis has came back and reported some type of improvement with - not only their health - but also their quality of life.

I’ve had the blessing to see living testimonials happen right before my eyes with our passionate health community we’ve created. You can watch all the YouTube videos you want on how cannabis oil has changed people's lives, but until you see it for yourself, you don’t know the full impact it has.

Not only that, we as a company - which is a very close-knit team and family - have seen how CBD has helped one of our own with her Multiple Sclerosis.

Even my wife, through her recent turbulent pregnancy, has reaped the benefits of CBD oil. She’s taken CBD consistently and it’s the only thing that helped her with pregnancy carpal tunnel.

If I’m being 100% transparent, I underestimated cannabis oil in the largest form. I didn’t believe its health benefits until I experienced myself on a continual basis. I know, shame on me, but I’m proud to say I’ve been amazed by this product day-in and day-out.

The Lack of CBD Research

In today's data-driven world, it seems like research is becoming more and more valuable. It verifies things and validates us as consumers. When you’re referencing the medical realm, research isn’t just nice to have, it’s essential.

I underestimated the lack of quality research that’s out there for CBD. Even though the research that’s out there shows the great benefits of CBD, there is still a major need for more medical research. A key component to this lack of research is because many medical entities don’t want to get mixed up with the “cannabis stigma,” which is absurd in 2017. Further than that, many don’t want the research out because they don’t want to damage the drug market.

One of the toughest things about running our company has been the need and want to answer your questions. Unfortunately, for all parties involved, many of your questions take in-depth research that has yet to be conducted within the CBD realm. Again, this is why our mission is the soul of our existence and you’re the key to our success.

The Emotional Impact Your Stories Have on Our CBD Company

There is no denying the immense benefits of CBD oil as far as people struggling with Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, and a list of ailments that’s almost too long to list.

Many of you, especially those of you whom are our readers, know someone personally who struggles with a health issue and has seen the benefits of CBD oil. That’s why you believe. That’s why you’re an advocate for CBD.

Even though I was a believer in this great alternative solution before I ventured into the CBD industry, I just didn’t know how much more of a believer I would become.

Most of our clientele is well over 40 years old; they’re non-marijuana advocates and desperate for some type of health solution. The reason I’m telling you this is to give you context and perspective. There is an enormous movement happening right before our eyes; we’re seeing a revolutionary mindset in how we take care of ourselves. No longer are we waiting on the FDA to “tell us what we need.” We now have the ability to do our own research and take our health into our own hands. More and more people, from all walks of life, are believing in cannabis oil as a key solution to their everyday health and overall quality of life.

Seeing this happen first-hand is humbling to say the least. Hearing your stories of loved ones you’ve lost and loved ones you’ve seen who’ve experienced the benefits of CBD have put an emotional footprint on our company.

The stories many of you have shared via email, our closed health community Facebook page and in-person have been nothing short of amazing; they’re 100% emotional. We appreciate every story that has been shared with us. We appreciate and respect your trust more than you know. We don’t take that trust lightly.

I can honestly say I didn’t intend to be impacted by your stories as much as I have been. I’m incredibly thankful to each one of our customers, and I’m even more thankful to the customers that have shared their WHY with us. We’re humbled and grateful for you all - not to mention grateful to be living in a time where it’s all possible to finally enjoy the benefits of CBD oil legally.

Thank you, from us to you. Thank you for keeping our mission alive and strong. Thank you for continuing to advance the word of cannabis oil. The industry needs YOU.
